An increase of sixty-three cents over the Previous Year. The town increased forty-three cents and the school increased seventy-four cents.

October 25, 2022:  Newmarket Town Manager Steve Fournier announced today that the State of New Hampshire Department of Revenue Administration (DRA) has set the Property Tax Rate for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023 for the Town of Newmarket. The Tax Rate is $26.99, an increase of 63 cents per thousand of assessed valuation or 2.4%.

In comparison to FY2022, the FY2023 Town portion of the Tax Rate increased by 7.4%, the combined School rate increased by 4.2% and State Education Rate decreased by 28.3%. The County portion increased 2.2%.

The Town Clerk - Tax Collector is in the process of preparing the bills now. That office is anticipating the bills to be issued shortly. Tax bills will be due on December 5, 2022.
