Billing Information

All water and sewer is billed and mailed quarterly, February, May, August and November and are due thirty days from the billing date. Interest will accrue on the unpaid balance after the due date at a rate of 12%. Should any customer fail to pay charges when due, services may be terminated and shall not be resumed until all charges are paid, including a turn off fee of $25.00 and a turn on fee of $25.00. If payments for shut offs are received after 3:00pm your service will not be restored until the following business day. Payments made at any other center other than Town Hall may take several days to reach us, and may not guarantee continuation of your service. The Town of Newmarket is not responsible for failure of the U.S.Postal Service to deliver bills. It is the responsibility of the customer to contact the Town Office to obtain the balance on their utility account if a bill is not received. Please call the Water/Sewer billing department if you are unable to pay your bill when due. New Rates Effective on the August 2023 bills: Water rate $7.25 per 100 Cubic Feet and Sewer $12.75 per 100 Cubic Feet.
