Welcome to the Newmarket Police Department's website. On behalf of the Newmarket Police Department, I welcome your interest in our agency. The men and women of the Newmarket Police Department are committed to providing quality police services to our citizens and those who visit and work in our community. I am proud to lead what I consider to be an exceptional group of dedicated police professionals and employees. Through this website we offer you an opportunity to look at our department and some of the services we offer.  

Our department takes a proactive, community oriented approach to policing and problem solving.  Our purpose is to prevent and control crime in an effort to make our community a safe and enjoyable place to live and visit. We encourage all members of our community to actively participate in helping us keep Newmarket  safe, friendly, and a welcoming place for everyone.

Our goal at the police department is to have an agency that reflects the community and it's values. Community policing and service to our citizens and visitors is our top priority. Crime prevention and problem solving is our method to achieve our goal. We believe preventing crime is preferable to prosecuting it and helps keep a high quality of life within the town. Our officers strive to serve this community with a fair and consistent approach that focuses on treating everyone with respect and dignity.
