Starting in September 2006, Newmarket residents will have the ability to take part
in a Citizen's Police Academy. This Police Academy will take place
one night a week, for eight weeks in two hour sessions. Each week
you will learn different aspects of law enforcement. The courses
will be taught by employees of the Newmarket Police Department and citizens
will get a first hand look at the everyday tasks of a Newmarket Police
Officer. Below is an outline of the course syllabus as well as an
application that can be printed out and delivered to the Newmarket Police
Department if you are interested in attending. Space is limited
so apply soon.
