Ed Wojnowski was asked at the last meeting to put together a brief history of Black Bear for new members of the board. The packet was presented to the board for review. The Wilson property was questioned as to how it was purchased and paid for and it’s intended land use.
Discussion of the history of Black Bear continued with concerns as to its develop ability and concerns with road access in and out of the district. Black Bear TIF was created by a warrant article to be zoned for commercial/industrial development and that is how the town voters intended its use to be when it was created. The committee felt that before further plans with the district were to go forward, that the two major land owners on the TIF district were contacted by Town Administrator, Ed Wojnowski as to their commitment and willingness to see the district grow.
