Minutes of November 13,2008 meeting at recreation center
Members present: Peter Roy, Mike LaBranche, Eric Botterman, Leo Filion
The Committee met with Jim Hilton to go over his proposed Capital Improvement requests for the 2009/2010 budgetyear
.
There was some discussion about Jim’s request for adding a room divider and money for a playground at Beanie Howcroft field
There was much discussion about updating the portion of the CIP which concerns work already approved by the Newmarket Town Council on the A and B Field..
It was suggested that Jim meet with Don Parnell and update all the information available by the end of this month so that the CIP Committee may present an updated version of the Recreation Department CIP to the Town Administrator by December 3, 2008.
It was also suggested that Jim prioritize this years requests in the event that the CIP Committee has to make some reductions.
It was also stated that either Jim or the CIP Committee could call for another meeting on the Recreation Department CIP if either party felt it was advisable.
The next meeting for the CIP Committee will be Tuesday November 18, 2008 at the Public Works garage at 3:30 P.M. to go over the Ambulance, Public Works, Fire, Building Improvements, ISO, ladder truck, bridge, and dam capital improvement programs. Rick Malasky will determine the order which these will be heard and we will probably have to continue some of them to a later date.
A motion was made by Eric Botterman and seconded by Peter Roy to adjourn at 4:35 P.M.
