Meeting was called to order at 7:08 pm
A motion to approve the Minutes January 31 and March 3 meetings was made by Phil LePage and seconded by Forbes Getchell. Vote was unanimous.
Chair reported that there was a request that all minutes of meetings be submitted to Kathy Castle for the Councilors review and discussion at council meetings. Ms. Ryan has forwarded all minutes to Kathy.
Discussion of the presentation and packet regarding the Historic District – a letter, a copy of “Newmarket Revisited”, a map and the nomination form for the council, the town Administrator, Kathy Castle should be submitted before April 9 for the April 16 Council meeting. This will be an information presentation. Ms. Ryan will contact the NH Department of Historic Resources and inquire about getting a consultant to come to a public meeting.
Discussion on Town Clock - Dana Glennon reported that the town clock is in need of repair and that a committee would be formed to decide on repairs and location.
Planning Board applications - Lamprey Falls application was approved and work should begin shortly; 3 No. Main St application was approved but the owners are not moving forward with the project and are putting the property on the market. ; Dunkin Donuts application is still in limbo and there is no scheduled meeting for further review.
