Drove out to the well site in order to view the well location and the property that would potentially be acquired. Mrs. Tucker indicated that the area encompasses the field and possibly 5 acres of woodland. The Councilors discussed the piping route in order to tie the well into the Town’s water system. Sean Greig indicated that the most direct route would be to run a pipe to the MacIntosh property and tie into the water line that then goes directly into the town’s water tank.
Sean Greig further indicated that the engineering firm of Weston and Sampson is currently putting together a cost estimate for the installation of the piping for both the Tucker and MacIntosh wells to the water tank.
There were further discussion on other items, but no decisions were made.
