Through an agreement with the Trustees of the Newmarket Library the Veteran's Memorial Trust Committee has been able to secure a site for a future memorial.  The location is on the east side of the library overlooking Main Street and the Lamprey River.  At present the names of the Korean War veterans as well as the Vietnam and current conflicts have not been displayed at any location.  The committee feels that this is an appropriate place to place their names.  The exact form that this will take place in is currently being discussed and hopefully we will have a proposal to present to the Town in the near future.  We have been  able to secure some funding for this project but much more will be needed as we go forth.
