Tax Collection -- Online Payments

• Property Tax (including Current Use and Timber Tax)

  • The 1st Half 2007 Property Tax Bills were mailed May 22, 2007, and were due July 2, 2007. (Note: 1st Half property tax bill amounts are an 'estimate only' and are based on one-half of the total 2005 property tax amount.)

  • The 2nd Half 2007 Property Tax Bills will be due no earlier than December 1, 2007.

  • Property Tax Liens - In accordance with State law, property tax liens are executed in mid to late April 2008 on any properties which have unpaid 2007 property taxes and/or unpaid 2007 water and sewer bills

• Resident Tax

  • The 2007 Resident Tax bills were mailed March 28, 2007, and are due upon receipt. After December 1, 2007, a $1.00 penalty is assessed.

Transfer Station Coupons in increments of $5.00 may be purchased WITH CHECK

(payment) ONLY on Saturdays at the Town Transfer Station or with CASH OR CHECK

at the Town Clerk's Office.

• To register to vote, you must be:

  • 18 years of age

  • Newmarket resident

  • Valid ID and proof of US Citizenship

• Absentee Ballot Application
